August 13, 2012
Hi Parents! Welcome to the new school year 2012! Here you will find information about what is happening in the Atelier or “Art Studio”! I will do my best to update it at least 3 times a month with a full description of art studio activities, photos and look aheads. Once in a while, I will also ask for any contributions that you may throw away at home: toilet paper rolls etc.
Can’t wait to work with your young artists!
Cheers,

Marvin

 WEEK 9 & 10 (24th – 28th & 31st – 4th Nov)
Well done to all my very patient artists for finishing their cardboard masks (or as Grans calls it – AVATARS!) Thanking our parent volunteers for helping me out and of course, Grans! The last couple of weeks, our little artists worked on finishing their cardboard masks, experimented with wax & watercolor, did plenty of paper cutting/glue, and finally smudge painting. I briefly guided them on doing ‘controlled lines’ using their fingers. Their patience and controlled lines will eventually be put on an A4 canvas next week. Have a lovely weekend everyone and take care!
